Jannetty Racing builds 735rwhp, YSi blown 10 second 1/4 mile 2010 Camaro monster…

Jannetty Racing in Waterbury, CT knows a little something about adding some boosted power to American Muscle Cars. In fact, they’ve been doing it for over 20 years. The 2010 Camaro SS, in particular, has really given Ted Jannetty and his staff a fantastic platform to show what they can do.

When Don Rainey brought his Victory Red SS to Jannetty looking for serious power gains, Ted & co. pulled out the big guns. Starting with a Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharging System, they then fabricated a trick custom Dual Bypass setup for it, and added to it American Racing Headers 2″ Headers, Jannetty Racing Cam Package, a CoolingMist Methanol Injection System, Hurst Shifter, custom tuning, and 16″ Bogart wheels with Hoosier Tires to help the SS launch hard and transmit the power to the ground.

Putting power to the ground is exactly what this car does! With 735 horsepower at the rear wheels at 10psi, this LS3 was ready to hit the street and the track with a vengeance!

At a recent trip to the track, this mean SS drew a crowd after running an impressive 10.61 @ 130.19mph in the 1/4 mile.

For anything from complete bolt-on systems to race ready serious high horsepower insanity, Vortech is clearly the choice for you and your muscle car.

    Thanks for putting this up.

I just want to add that this is a stock long block untouched as it came from the factory sans the cam upgrade.

Clutch, transmission, rear end, and axles are all stock.

We wanted to see how far we can push the stock parts, and we are not done, so far so good.

    Thank you all for looking.
    Ted.

Congrats on an awesome run! I have a 2010 Camaro SS L99. Within 2-3 mos. from now I will be putting a supercharger in mine. I don’t know whether to put either a Paxton novi 1500 or Vortech v7 ysi. As of now I only have american racing headers 1 7/8 long tube and an Air aid CAI and 160 therm. Im going to have meth kit added and 102mm lsx fast all at once with the supercharger I choose. Then def. a cam and heads. I know eventually, I will do everything. Id love a ten second car someday. Id like to be somewhere around 700 rwhp for now.
