FARTHING WINS 16TH CHAMPIONSHIP
2010 IJSBA WORLD FINALS LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ
Tuesday October 12th, 2010
The IJSBA World Finals is regarded as the most prestigious personal watercraft race in existence. The World Finals attracts racing’s top riders from all over the world to compete for the title of being the world champion.
Dustin Farthing, 15 time National & World Champion, entered this event backed by Monster Energy and Kawasaki. Dustin was set to race his Kawasaki Ultra in the very competitive Pro Runabout Open class. After weeks of preparation and testing, the Mountain Motorsports/Farthing Racing team felt as if they had the fastest boat on the water, and as it turns out they were right. In moto one of Pro Runabout open, Dustin got a 3rd place start eventually passing for the lead and going on to win with a half lap lead over the rest of the competition. In moto 2 of pro runabout open, Dustin holeshoted his Kawasaki Ultra Vortech powered Jet Ski into the lead and never looked back. When the spray cleared, Dustin Farthing had won again…earning his 16th championship and proving once again that he is the undisputed best in the world.
Farthing said this could not have been possible without the support of Kawasaki, Monster Energy, Mountain Motorsports, Vortech Superchargers, Jet Pilot, Jet Trim, JE, Smith Optics, Hot Products, Thor, AP Designs, and Deadly Sins.
