Creations N’ Chrome Builds A Best Of Show Winning Stunner To Raise Breast Cancer Awareness…

Creations N’ Chrome owners Gary & Kristin Watson have a sort-of Midas touch, only everything they touch doesn’t turn to gold…it turns to chrome! For the 2nd year in a row, Cn’C have put together a 4 wheeled chrome display piece to dazzle the masses as they visit the Ford booth at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas. Last year it was a gorgeous green chrome Focus Sedan that won them the coveted Ford “Outstanding Achievement in Design” award, this year they have outdone themselves with this outrageous pink chrome “Pony Girl” Mustang GT convertible. The purpose, to build a package that will not only excite the automotive enthusiast, but also raise breast cancer awareness in conjunction with the American Cancer Society.

The car, which is said to have taken over 600 labor hours to complete, was first stripped and chromed using the Spectra Chrome process, and then coated with passionate pink over the top with stylish white racing stripes to create the amazing finish you see here. But Kristin & Gary did not stop there! Under the hood, Gary installed a new Vortech 20th Anniversary Edition Supercharging System with V-3 self-lubricated Si-Trim Supercharger to bring the ponies up on this girl to over 600 at just 8psi. In addition, a Nitrous Express N-Tercooler system is there to spray super-cooled NO2 directly onto the massive Vortech intercooler. Corsa exhaust gives the pony its soundtrack, and KW Suspension keeps it hugging the pavement. The body kit styling is from 3D Carbon, the wheels are hot of the presses HRE 590RS’s wrapped in Falken high performance rubber, and Wilwood Brakes has provided the extra stopping power. The stark white custom leather interior is from High Quality Auto Upholstery using Ultrafabric’s Ultraleather.

As it happens, we weren’t the only people that thought the Pony Girl Mustang was possibly the best car at the 2010 SEMA Show. It took home the Ford Motor Company “Best of Show” award. Congratulations Gary & Kristin on your impressive achievement, and for building your amazing Supercharged Mustang to help a great cause!
