This 1967 Shelby GT500e “Eleanor” Mustang was given a new lease on life, and raised to a whole new level of awesome by Andrew & Mike Osborne of Airborne Racing. After pulling out the engine, they started from scratch with a Dart based 302, punching and stroking it out to a hefty 349 cubic inches. Then, they added TFS-R high port cylinder heads, a custom ground Anderson Ford Motorsport camshaft, a set of 80lb. injectors, and the all important Vortech V-7 YSi-Trim Supercharger. The car back together, the Osbornes used Big Stuff 3 to dial it in to an impressive 774rwhp and 640rwtq at 15psi. Capable of revving to 8,000rpm and handling plenty of additional boost, the Osbornes plan to place this iconic Shelby back on the dyno for numbers well into the mid-800rwhp range soon.
