Hanging out with our friends at GTR High Performance is always a good time. That’s why whenever they tell us they are having an open house, we jump in a few boosted vehicles and come on out. They always have a big event right after SEMA each year, so we rolled out in a new Vortech Supercharged 6.2L SVT Raptor Truck, and Scott W.’s Tjin Edition Vortech Supercharged Convertible Camaro for a day of hot cars, hot dogs, and hot dyno runs. Jeremy’s gorgeous, Paxton NOVI 1200 Supercharged Fox Body is a fantastic example of why these cars are still so popular today.Eddie Z’s Mustang is a prime example of a modern day muscle car – After swapping a 4 valve engine out of an ’03 Mach 1 into his ’98 GT, he then added a Vortech V-3 Supercharger and a custom intercooler for a result that can melt tires with the best of ’em.Steve M’s bright yellow Z06 has been a staple at GTR High Performance gatherings for quite some time, and we hope we continue to see it for years to come. A Vortech/A&A Corvette Supercharging System and custom tuning from Cunningham Motorsports have this car making big power.Seen at other GTR shows and track events, Carlos’ Paxton NOVI 2000 blown 4.6 is a welcome old friend at the event.Arnold H’s new 5.0L Mustang GT was one of the very first Vortech Supercharged Coyotes, and we can tell he is taking great care of his 600+ horsepower beast.
Phil D.’s Terminator Cobra has won the highest horsepower dyno title at several GTR events, but today it was on hand mainly for show. With it’s 3.3L Lysholm Supercharging System under the hood, this monster has turned the rollers at GTR to as much as 650rwhp in the past. Rob Estell’s Paxton NOVI 2200 S197 Mustang GT looks great, goes fast, and is always welcome at events in our book.
This silver 5.0L GT was looking sweet with its Satin Finish V-3 Si-Trim System sitting under the hood.This Vortech Supercharged Cobra has a custom “Special Vehicle Team” serial tag, and Vortech air-to-water charge cooler.Steve M’s Mustang was also on the property, showing another great example of a well thought out muscle car build.Gustavo’s Cobra is boasting a built engine and big power, thanks to the NOVI 2000 pushing all the extra air into the cylinders.This 5.0L Mustang GT is running a Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharger, which is from Vortech’s self-lubricated line of compressors.
