Vortech Powered “Slayer” Boat Cuts through The Water With Surgical Precision, Straight To Victory…

The NAPA Auto Parts World Finals Lucas Oil Drag Boat Series. Nov 17-20th

The #516 “Slayer” drag boat owned and driven by John Digiacinto went through the weekend with surgical precision and consistency at the Lucas Oil/NAPA AUTO Parts Drag Boat World Finals at Firebird Raceway Park in Phoenix, AZ. The Mike Miller Motorsports built, Vortech V-28 121mm Supercharged, (equipped with a unconventional Blow-through Carburetor) 565CID Pontiac clicked off 6.04, 6.02, 6.01 and final round 6.01 for the win over the #392 boat of Prewit and Hardwick.

Quick Eliminator Class
1.) #516 – Slayer – John Digiacinto/John Digiacinto
2.) #392 – Texas Red – Steve Prewit/Jerry Hardwick

The Vortech V-28 121mm supercharged blow-through carbureted Pontiac surprised everyone in the class with its consistency! The 2000hp Vortech Centrifugally Supercharged boat absolutely dominates in a class where PSI screw blowers and fuel injection are the norm.

Congrats to John Digiacinto/crew and Mike Miller Motorsports for their impressive win.
