It was another beautiful day in Southern California, and Granatelli Motorsports graciously opened their doors to fans, friends, and auto enthusiasts far and wide for their annual Open house and Dyno Day. Locals, cars clubs, and many more came out to enjoy the day and to see some some quality cars and some exciting runs on Granatelli’s Mustang Dynamometer.The Vortech booth was filled to the brim with great cars, and team Vortech was there to answer your supercharging questions, hand out literature, and show off what Vortech and the Air Power Group is all about.
Javier V’s C6 Corvette absolutely punished Granatelli’s dyno with his A&A Corvette Vortech YSi-Trim Supercharging System, making well over 700rwhp and easily taking the award for highest horsepower of the day.
Creations n’ Chrome’s award winning “Boy Racer” Mustang GT features a dazzling Spectra Chrome paint job by Gary Watson @ Creations n’ Chrome, along with a black Vortech V-3 Si-Trim Supercharging System and lots of other aftermarket goodies. The most frequently asked question of the day “What does a paint job like that cost?” The answer: $45,000, and Creations n’ Chrome are one of only a very select few people that can do it correctly.
Charles P’s sexy ’96 Mustang GT features a V-1 Vortech Supercharging System, a custom widened rear stance, Saleen styling parts, and a custom set of Kompression Wheels. Everyone loved the classic V-1 Vortech sound as the car rolled into the show!
Robert J. brought out this Lysholm Twin-Screw Supercharged Camaro SS and a few other cars to support Kompression Wheels, and it was looking clean!
