Vortech, Paxton, and Lysholm were on site at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA for Wekfest L.A. 2012. Wekfest was started in 2009 by its main sponsor, Weksos Industries. Based in the SanFrancisco Bay area, Wekfest is regarded as one of the local community’s premier automotive gatherings. In 2011, Weksos Industries partnered with Fatlace to launch the Wekfest Nationwide Tour. Stops on this tour include Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, and Honolulu. The main focus behind the tour is to bring the Wekfest influence and atmosphere to communities throughout the country, and serve all automotive enthusiasts as a common place for their passion.
To enforce quality assurance, each vehicle that participates at a Wekfest event goes through a screening process. This screening process, along with the focus on the relationship with the automotive community and its individuals, are the main principals in which the Wekfest series of events is governed by.
