Our friends at Creations n’ Chrome have built some outstanding Vortech Supercharged cars over the last few years, so when they invited us out for a day of fun, food, and dyno competition…we jumped in the car and drove on out to Valencia, CA to hang out.
Easily one of the highlights of the day was Cn’C’s Project Top Notch. Not only is it possibly the craziest Fox Body ever built, but it laid down 869.50RWHP on the dyno, thanks to its Vortech V-7 JT Supercharged Ford Racing Aluminator 5.0L engine!
Vortech’s own Scion FR-S was at the event gathering crowds and getting lots of approving looks. It’s turning out hard for anyone dislike these new FT86’s once there is some Vortech boost under the hood.
This mean looking Chevy C-10 Truck, dubbed “Project Unfinished Business” is another of Creations n’ Chrome’s impressive project vehicles. With the Vortech V-7 YSi Supercharger under the hood blowing through a custom intercooler into a 502 Ramjet Big Block, it is a good thing this truck also has an whole host of Hotchkis suspension goodies and some big HRE Wheels & Falken Tires under it to keep the huge horsepower and torque under control!
This Gintani Supercharged E46 M3 put down a very impressive 475RWHP on the dyno. Gintani utilize Vortech Superchargers in all of their supercharging systems, and this M3 was running a polished Vortech V-2 Si.
Thomas R’s Paxton NOVI 2200 Supercharged “Gator” S197 Mustang GT is a staple at many of the Southern California events. His highly modified Legend Lime Convertible is instantly recognizable everywhere he goes!
One of our all time favorites and still a treat to see, Creations n’ Chrome’s Vortech V-3 Si Supercharged “Pony Girl” Mustang 5.0L GT is a must see if you have never had the pleasure of checking it out.
