Chances are, John Reed’s Challenger is not one you want to line up next to. At least, not unless you really like Challenger taillights. While the exterior of the car may not quite let on what lies under the hood, it has more than enough there to hurt LOTS of feelings.
The heart of this beast is an HHP/BES 5.7L based VVT 392 Stroker at 9.5:1 compression. It has Custom HHP/BES Comp Cams Limiter Camshaft, HHP/BES Stage 5 Ported Factory 5.7L Eagle Heads with Big Valves, an XV Intake Manifold cleaned up by BES, an HHP Return Style Fuel System, and one fierce Vortech YSi Supercharger with custom air-to-air high hp intercooler feeding it all the atmosphere it can ingest.
Top it off with a Custom Built T-6060 Trans w/ Spec Clutch, Driveshaft Shop 9″ Rear End Kit & Driveshaft, and a custom Tune by HHP with Diablosport CMR Software, and you have one solid Challenger. Congrats John!
